We are currently seeking an experienced Night Manage r to join the team in The Leinster.

Key Areas Overnight Hotel Operations Guest Services Experience Team Supervision Support Safety Security Management Financial Night Audit Oversight Handover Communication Job Purpose The Night Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel's operations overnight, ensuring a safe, smooth, and efficient guest experience while maintaining service excellence.
Acting as the senior manager on duty during night hours, this role involves supervising staff, handling guest relations, managing financial procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.
The Night Manager ensures seamless communication and handover to the Front Office Manager and day teams.
Role Responsibilities Overnight Hotel Operations Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift, acting as the main point of contact for staff and guests.
Ensure smooth running of front office, housekeeping, and F B operations overnight.
Monitor hotel systems, including reservations, occupancy levels, and room availability.
Guest Services Experience Greet and assist guests with late check-ins, early check-outs, and special requests.
Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure VIP and special-arrival procedures are carried out overnight.
Team Supervision Support Supervise front office and night team staff, ensuring service standards are upheld.
Provide guidance and support to night staff, addressing any performance or service issues.
Oversee handover procedures between evening and night teams.
Safety Security Management Conduct regular property walks to monitor safety, security, and cleanliness.
Ensure doors, entrances, and guest areas are secure overnight.
Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security concerns, following hotel protocols.
Financial Night Audit Oversight Support the Night Auditor in balancing guest accounts, processing payments, and reconciling revenue.
Ensure all cash handling, credit card transactions, and end-of-day reporting are accurate.
Address discrepancies and escalate as needed to the Front Office Manager or Finance team.
Handover Communication Provide a detailed handover to the morning management team, including guest issues, incidents, and overnight reports.
Communicate effectively with the Front Office Manager to ensure continuity in service and operations.
Prepare and distribute relevant operational and incident reports.
Preferred Experience Skills 3 - 4 years' experience in hotel front office operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure or emergency situations.
Excellent communication and guest service skills, with the ability to manage conflict effectively.
Solid knowledge of hotel systems (Opera or similar PMS) and night audit procedures.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
