We are now seeking anEscalation SpecialistwithJapanese languageto join their Safety Net team within Global Risk Operations.As an Escalation Specialist, you will manage some of the most sensitive and complex escalation cases across major social media platforms. You will investigate reported issues, resolve advertiser-related escalations, and collaborate cross-functionally with policy, legal, engineering, and operations teams. This role requires strong analytical ability, excellent judgement, and the capacity to perform under pressure.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret and enforce platform policies, including Community Standards and Commercial Policies.Investigate and resolve escalated cases relating to user issues, advertiser integrity, IP concerns, and partner inquiries.Manage a daily queue of 20–30 tickets, providing timely, accurate, and high-quality case resolutions.Work closely with cross-functional partners (Policy, Legal, Product, Engineering, GRO) to drive complex escalations to closure.Analyze data and escalation trends to identify risks and recommend process or product improvements.Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders via chat and email.Stay up to date on policy updates, workflow changes, and operational guidelines.Review sensitive content when required, including potentially graphic material.Minimum RequirementsFluency in Japanese and English (reading and writing proficiency required).2–4 years' experience in online operations, escalations, investigations, customer support, risk management, or a related area.Demonstrated experience handling high-priority or sensitive cases.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and manage ambiguity.Preferred QualificationsExperience in advertisement support, integrity, trust & safety, or risk investigation.Familiarity with analytical tools (Excel, SQL).Experience working within large global tech environments or digital platforms.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and positive, solutions-focused mindset.This opportunity is an 11-month contract, Hybrid, based in Dublin 4, paying a maximum of €73K per annum (pro rata).
