Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced civil engineer to join our team in Ireland. As a senior civil engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering transformative transport projects, from major Bus Connects programs to Greenways and Active Travel schemes, that redefine how people move across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage design packages for major road, greenway, and urban transport schemes from concept to construction.
* Oversee multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians, ensuring seamless collaboration across drainage, structures, and environmental disciplines.
* Apply the latest standards including DMURS, Cycle Design Manual, and TII Publications to create safe, people-focused transport solutions.
* Work directly with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, guiding them through technical challenges and statutory approval processes.
* Support and coach junior engineers, contributing to the company's culture of growth and continuous learning.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
* Significant experience in road, urban, or Active Travel infrastructure design.
* Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and manage project delivery.
* Working knowledge of Irish transport standards: TII Publications, DMURS, DMRB, SRW/MCHW, and Cycle Design Manual.
* Experience with statutory planning and design approvals in Ireland.
