We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Lead to join our team for a large Data Center construction project in Ireland and across our European Operations. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in cost management and quantity surveying, with experience managing commercial aspects of large-scale construction projects.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage project budgets and cost estimates
Implement cost control measures to ensure the project stays within budget
Review and approve project invoices and change orders
Monitor and report on project financial performance
Manage procurement and subcontractor agreements
Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing construction team on a large-scale project in Ireland and across our European Operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Construction Economics or a related field
Minimum of 12 years experience in commercial management/quantity surveying
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement practices
Experience with large-scale construction projects, preferably data center projects
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to lead, as well as work well in a team environment
