**Design Engineer Role**
We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing preliminary and detailed designs, drawings, and technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and review of preliminary and detailed designs, drawings, and technical reports;
* Assistance in the procurement of site investigations, tender documentation, and contract administration;
* Collaboration with project managers and senior engineers to ensure designs are delivered on time and within budget;
* Liaison with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design queries and progress projects;
* Opportunity to mentor junior engineers and review their work, supporting their technical development.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent);
* 2+ years of experience in civil design, ideally with experience on Irish projects;
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, with a willingness to develop skills in AutoCAD 3D / BIM (Revit experience desirable);
* Knowledge of MicroDrainage, MS Project, and/or GIS software (ArcGIS, MapInfo) desirable;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, team-focused approach;
* Must be already based in Ireland and available to start without the need for relocation or visa processing.
