AI / ML Engineer - 12 Month Contract Hybrid Working | Daily Rate | Ireland-Based I've partnered with a leading organisation that is expanding its Data & Analytics Engineering function and is now hiring an AI / ML Engineer (Contract) to support high-impact, business-critical initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AI / ML Engineer to work on modern AI, Machine Learning, and GenAI solutions in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment, with long-term contract potential and competitive daily rates.
Please note: Candidates must be based in Ireland and have full working rights.
Strong daily rate available depending on experience.
Initial 12 month contract with likelihood of extension.
The Role As an AI / ML Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, build, deployment, and optimisation of scalable machine learning and data science solutions.
You'll work closely with engineering, analytics, and product teams to deliver robust, production-ready systems that directly support business outcomes.
What I'm Looking For Strong commercial experience delivering machine learning and data science solutions in enterprise environments Expert-level Python and R development skills Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS essential) Solid background working in Linux and containerised environments Exposure to AI and Generative AI patterns (e.g. RAG architectures) Proven experience implementing testing, automation, and quality assurance practices in production systems Ability to drive data-led product decisions and influence technical strategy Experience improving data quality, performance, scalability, and reliability Strong understanding of DataOps, DevSecOps, and modern deployment methodologies Knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy best practices Comfortable working across the full lifecycle: data modelling, analysis, development, testing, and deployment A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong stakeholder communication skills Additional Information Immediate interviews with prompt start date available.
