Position Overview
We are seeking a
Junior Operations Analyst
to join the operations team supporting the firm's
Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO)
platform. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in structured credit and loan operations within a fast-paced asset management environment.
The ideal candidate will have
around one year of experience
, preferably within a
CLO trustee, loan agency, or fund administration
role, and a strong interest in developing a long-term career in financial operations.
Responsibilities
* Trade and Loan Administration
* Support the booking and settlement of primary and secondary loan trades.
* Monitor loan-level activity such as paydowns, rollovers, and rate resets.
* Liaise with counterparties, agent banks, and trustees to ensure operational accuracy.
* Cash and Reconciliation
* Assist with daily cash and position reconciliations between internal systems, trustees, and agents.
* Track principal and interest collections, distributions, and reinvestments.
* Reporting Support
* Help prepare and review periodic reports for investors and trustees (monthly and quarterly).
* Validate portfolio data and ensure consistency across systems and service providers.
* Process and System Maintenance
* Maintain operational records and documentation.
* Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
* Around 1 year of experience in a trustee, loan agency, fund administrator, or similar operational role.
* Basic understanding of leveraged loans and CLO structures is a plus.
* Proficient in Excel; familiarity with systems such as ClearPar and Wall Street Office is desirable.
* Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
* Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
