Job Title: Quantity Surveying Associate Director / Director Level

Note - Great role for Associate Director or newly promoted Director (last 2/3 years or less) to come in and run a Quantity Surveying Department. There is significant plans to expand the team in the next 18 months and you would be a pivotal part of the process. Great opportunity here to come in and become part of a business that has additional expansion plans beyond this (can discuss this confidently on the phone if interested).
Role Overview
You will be responsible for overseeing the cost management and commercial functions on projects & managing some team members You will work closely with clients, developers, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring the successful financial delivery of projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the cost consultancy te.am, overseeing multiple projects across commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors.
* Provide expert advice on cost planning, procurement strategies, value engineering, and contract administration.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring best-in-class service delivery.
* Manage project budgets, tender processes, and contractor negotiations to ensure cost efficiency.
* Oversee the preparation of cost estimates, BOQs, and feasibility studies.
* Conduct risk assessments, claims management, and dispute resolution as needed.
* Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
* Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting professional growth and industry best practices.
