The Global Response Operations organization within Meta responds to real-time crises, proactively identifies and evaluates emerging risks, conducts investigations related to risks, and assesses ways to benefit our community. By managing incidents and crises to resolution, the organization drives continuous improvement with our partners across Meta.
The SEO (Specialized Enforcement Operations) team focuses on high-priority, complex, or regulatory enforcement demands, providing specialized support where systems or scaled solutions need it. The team is agile, bringing enforcement experience to adapt to shifting priorities and emergent situations, often requiring local context, language, policy, community, or functional expertise.
You will collaborate with stakeholders in Operations, Policy, Legal, Process, and Product teams to review and enforce content reported for potential abuse, resolve user account issues, and enhance the support experience for the Brazil Region. You will also address enforcement issues across various Meta markets.
The Market Specialist will be part of a data-driven team dedicated to community protection through enforcement, scaling operations by optimizing and automating processes, solving challenging problems, and preventing issues.
Responsibilities:
1. Enforce crisis response efforts within the Brazil region.
2. Participate in an on-call operational structure to enforce critical content in SEO markets, with a focus on Brazil.
3. Utilize language skills and geopolitical knowledge of LATAM markets to detect signals and insights for enforcing complex risks and operational issues.
4. Support the development of scalable solutions to improve community support in LATAM, in collaboration with other regions.
5. Investigate and resolve issues related to META products, including abusive content, account support requests, and objectionable material such as graphic images, videos, and offensive language.
6. Assist enforcement efforts on content from multiple sources globally where language expertise isn't required.
7. Support enforcement of integrity risks affecting local and regional advertising, helping to protect advertisers and streamline ad delivery processes.
8. Analyze key metrics and work with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and tools.
9. Build expertise in regional abuse areas and collaborate on enforcement strategies.
10. Investigate emerging risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams on resolutions and policy recommendations, using geopolitical and operational insights.
11. This role may involve exposure to graphic or objectionable content, including but not limited to violent, abusive, or disturbing material.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Fluency in Portuguese.
* At least 1 year of experience in an operations environment.
* Experience communicating with diverse audiences in the LATAM market.
* Experience working with social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram.
* Ability to handle graphic and objectionable content.
* Experience managing ambiguity and developing new processes in response to changing circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Technical skills such as Excel, SQL, and visualization tools like Tableau for analytics and reporting.
