Description
We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our growing team in West Cork, managing end-to-end payroll processes for a diverse client portfolio in our Cork hub.
This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail, technical skills, and a desire to advance their payroll career within a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for various clients, ensuring accuracy and collaboration.
Manage employee data, tax information, and documentation, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
Oversee employee benefits such as pensions, health insurance, and deductions.
Address and resolve client inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and benefits with excellent service.
Stay updated on payroll laws, tax legislation, and statutory requirements to ensure compliance.
Maintain accurate records and a thorough document control system for audit purposes.
Prepare month-end journals and reports for posting and auditing, supporting financial accuracy.
Collaborate with clients to implement payroll solutions and software like Sage 50, ensuring smooth processing.
Key Requirements
Fully qualified AAT or equivalent experience.
Payroll/Accounts technician qualification is a plus but not essential, as training will be provided.
Additional Requirements
Working knowledge of payroll software, with familiarity in BrightPay being advantageous.
Understanding of Revenue legislation.
