HR Generalist – Dublin
Excel Recruitment is seeking a HR Generalist to join our client's retail operation in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional to work in a dynamic retail environment, providing hands-on HR support while enjoying the flexibility of one remote working day per week.
Salary: €35k – €40k
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and provide guidance to management and employees
2. Support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires
3. Manage employee relations, resolving issues and fostering a positive work culture
4. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company HR policies
5. Coordinate and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills
6. Maintain accurate HR records and assist with HR reporting and analytics
7. Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback mechanisms
8. Assist in implementing HR initiatives that align with business objectives
Requirements:
9. A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar HR role, preferably within the retail sector
10. Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships
12. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
13. Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
14. A CIPD qualification or equivalent is advantageous
