Overview:

Kerry GAA seeks a Commercial Director to develop and execute a commercial strategy focused on generating revenue growth through new fundraising models and commercial opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

* Create comprehensive business plans for commercial initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
* Develop new business services and events to drive revenue growth, leveraging expertise in sales, finance, fundraising, business management or asset investment.
* Identify and onboard new sponsors and partners to support revenue growth and create value.
* Explore strategic partnerships and market development opportunities to expand the COE Campus.
* Support existing fundraising activities, providing guidance and expertise to ensure optimal results.
* Research and identify grants available within the GAA and external funding opportunities to secure additional revenue streams.
* Collaborate with a communications agency to build and maintain a fan/media hub as an independent revenue stream.
* Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
* Work closely with relevant Sub-Committees, providing support and guidance as needed.
* Monitor commercial performance using key metrics and prepare reports for transparency and accountability.


Requirements

* Expertise in sales, finance, fundraising, business management or asset investment.
* Ability to create and implement commercial strategies.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders.
