Hardware Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. This is a critical role that will involve designing and developing cutting-edge hardware products.
Main Responsibilities:
* Low-Power Circuit Design: Our ideal candidate will have expertise in low-power circuit design, including DC/DC converters, power management methods, analogue design, and mixed-signal board-level design.
* Processor Architecture and Digital Circuit Design: The successful candidate will also have experience in processor architecture, digital circuit design, and embedded systems.
* Component Sourcing and Selection: We require someone who can source, evaluate, and select components for designs.
* Communication Protocols: Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, and USB is essential.
* RF Technology: Our ideal candidate will have experience with RF technology, including antenna design, impedance matching, and RF circuit tuning at frequencies like 345MHz, 433MHz, 868MHz, and 2.4GHz.
* Integrating RF Technologies: Experience in integrating RF technologies such as Zigbee, Zwave, WiFi, and Bluetooth is required.
* Design Development: The successful candidate will lead design development from schematic capture, PCB layout, assembly, to validation.
* ESD/EMI Immunity and RF De-Sensitisation: We require someone who can design for ESD/EMI immunity and RF de-sensitisation.
* Collaboration with Software Teams: The ideal candidate will be able to partner with software teams to define and implement firmware, drivers, and algorithms.
