With this exciting growth comes opportunity — and we’re looking for new talent to join us.Operations Assistant – Naas – shifts: Mon-Fri 07.00-15.30, 08.00-16.30, 10.00-18.30, 37.5 hours, rotation of shiftsTo meet customers\' requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their cargo effectively and in accordance with company operational procedures and statutory requirements including Health & Safety to the satisfaction of clients and the profit of the company.What will you be doing?Plan, arrange, monitor, and control all aspects of distribution planningSupport haulage planning across national routesEnsure compliance with company quality policies and objectives, maintaining KPIsCarry out general administrative duties, including event management, invoicing, filing, handling queries, claims, and cost checking in line with departmental requirementsRespond promptly to general enquiries, escalating issues where necessaryCommunicate effectively with internal and external customers, drivers, suppliers, and other officesMaximise the efficient utilisation of the vehicle fleetPrepare accurate documentation for the warehouse team to support the timely loading and offloading of cargoProduce reports and KPIs as requiredUndertake any other duties as reasonably requested by managementAbout YouStrong knowledge of the logistics and transport sectorCustomer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent serviceProficient in PC systems and transport operating softwareGood understanding of drivers’ hours and transport regulationsAbility to multitask and work effectively under pressureGood problem-solving skills and good geographical knowledge of IrelandWhat can we offer you?Competitive Salary Package and an opportunity to be a part of and grow within a driven and successful company, with a team of 160,000, operating in over 90 countries.
