Your Responsibilities
* Assist in maintaining a safety orientated Culture, cGMP compliant work environment at all times.
* Support in equipment installation, start-up, operation and troubleshooting to support introduction of new products.
* Assist as a member of the Department team, towards the delivery of production output targets and quality levels on schedule
* Carry out all production operations in the assigned area as directed and supervised by the Department Lead/Associate Director/Designee and the relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Manufacturing Batch Records.
* Support initial troubleshooting of issues identified during routine operations.
* Participate in investigations and optimization of processes using scientific, engineering and lean principles.
* Provide training and support to colleagues when supporting the development of SOPs, process execution and equipment operation.
* With guidance, write, review and revise area SOPs, Batch Records, Logbooks, Training Competencies, TrackWise Records and Work Instructions as directed.
* Seek opportunities for Continuous Improvement through the use of Lean/Six Sigma tools as part of daily operations (Standard Work, TPM, 5S, Method l, 2 etc.)
* Immediately notify the Department Lead/Associate Director/Designee of any deviation from SOPs and/or deviations in the standard production process.
* Ensure work areas is maintained to a high standard and all cGMP standards are complied with at all times. Perform all relevant housekeeping duties as assigned in the Department and complete tasks efficiently and effectively ensuring compliance to procedures.
* Complete relevant logbooks and records accordingly ensuring documentation practices applied accurately.
* Training to be completed in a timely manner and maintained up to date.
* To adhere fully to all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
* Ensure highest Quality & Compliance standards.
* Participate in the WuXi Performance and Development Management process.
* Capable of working with individuals and with a team of up to 24 people.
* Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents.
* Will be flexible to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the Department Lead/Associate Director/Designee.
* Will act as a role model for the manufacturing function and also the wider organisation in adherence to the WuXi corporate core values and PROUD culture.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
Qualifications
* Third-level qualification is desirable or equivalent in Biotechnology, Science or similar based discipline.
Knowledge/Experience
* Completion of an Internship in a related industry is preferred.
* Good problem-solving skills and self-directed.
* Ability to deal with change and to implement new effective work processes as required.
* Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Good priority setting skills, and the ability to deal with multiple tasks.
