Junior Civil/Structural Engineer
Job Location: Galway

Inform3 are seeking a Junior Civil/Structural Engineer for a busy civil and building design consultancy company to join their busy office in Galway.
Client has over 20 years' experience in consultancy looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years' experience to join their busy office.
Responsibilities
Draft and create drawings, designs, and diagrams.
Develop design concepts and perform structural design calculations.
Collaborate with engineers and architects when preparing drawings and designs.
Accurately calculate dimensions and allowances.
Revise drawings and layouts to incorporate changes and improvements.
Be willing and responsive to the demands and coordination of other design team members, clients, and contractors.
Liaise with external consultants and clients.
Periodically visit sites to take measurements.
Perform additional job-related tasks as needed.
Job Specification / Qualifications
Level 8 degree in civil or structural engineering.
2 - 5 years of experience in an engineering design office (or a similar environment).
Experience working on a diverse range of projects is highly desirable.
Strong working knowledge of current Irish Building Regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of British and Eurocode Design Standards for Concrete, Steel, Masonry, and Timber.
Proficient in using AutoCAD/Revit with the capability to prepare detailed technical designs and drawings to a high standard.
Essential knowledge of Robot, Staad PRO-QSE, or similar software.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English).
Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and the ability to research topics thoroughly.
