Job Description
A Senior Business Analyst is responsible for leading analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle. They act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the IT department to ensure business goals are achieved through effective solutions. Activities include:
* End-to-end project involvement from leading on workshops through to design and delivery phases.
* Perform root cause analysis of problems and work closely with business users to identify and translate their needs into solution designs and systems specifications.
* Produce detailed Business Requirement Specification Documents.
* Stakeholder management across all levels from c-suite through to on-the-ground developers both internally and with clients.
* Benefits mapping and tracking of approved products.
* As Is and To Be process mapping.
* Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for:
* Leading analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements.
* Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and the IT department.
* Ensuring business goals are achieved through effective solutions.
* Managing stakeholder expectations across all levels.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Significant experience in Business Analysis, with a track record in large-scale change and/or technology programmes/projects.
* Able to produce business process maps and other functional and business-facing documentation to a very high standard.
* Excellent communicator with experience of managing relationships with a range of stakeholders, including those at a senior level.
* Skilled communication bridge between IT and the business stakeholders.
* Experience in Agile and Waterfall/traditional methodologies.
* Pragmatic and results-oriented.
Desirable:
* Previous experience with integrated HCM, Workforce Management, and Payroll solutions.
* Business case writing experience is highly desirable.
