Assistant Technical Project Manager – Healthcare
Donegal | 12-Month Contract | €59,659
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Technical Project Manager to join a busy team in Donegal, working on a major 110-bed community hospital project due for completion in 2026.
The Role:
You'll deliver capital works programmes across a healthcare portfolio, managing both major and minor projects from brief through to completion. This includes budget preparation, tender management, contractor supervision, and ensuring compliance with procurement and building regulations.
You'll need:
* Level 8 degree in Architecture, Engineering or Surveying, OR chartered membership of SCSI, RICS, Engineers Ireland or RIAI
* Minimum 5 years' experience in construction project management, building design, or M&E services
* Knowledge of EU procurement and public works contracts
* Strong IT skills including AutoCAD and MS Project
* Own transport (travel between sites required)
Desirable:
* Healthcare or public sector construction experience
* Familiarity with HIQA standards
* Experience with energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings
