Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – ICUCPL Healthcare is delighted to partner with a Cork city flagship hospital to recruit a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) – for Intensive Care. The hospital delivers a comprehensive range of specialties including cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics and spine, emergency care, and outpatient services. This is a pivotal leadership position, responsible for the coordination and management of clinical activity and resources within the ICU and will include supporting the delivery of safe, high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care, promoting a culture of open communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement and providing expert clinical leadership, guidance, and support to the multidisciplinary team.Eligibility CriteriaRegistered General Nurse with the NMBIMinimum of five years’ full‑time post‑registration clinical experience, including at least 3 years in critical care or a related area at CNM level.Recognised post‑registration qualification in Critical Care Nursing or Intensive Care Nursing desirable.Management qualification desirable, or a willingness to undertake one.Up‑to‑date knowledge and experience of theatre and ICU practices.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong commitment to patient safety, clinical governance, and quality improvement.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high‑acuity environment requiring sound judgement and rapid decision‑making.A clear vision for service development and innovation.
