Quality Control Specialist Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our QC Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, reviewing and releasing raw materials, intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients in the Quality Control Laboratory.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing technical support for instrumentation and analytical methodology
* Executing trouble-shooting and providing coaching/training for instrumentation and analytical methodology within the QC laboratory
* Planning and approving materials to meet shipping and production timelines, stability timelines and Quality Control metrics
* Coordinating and leading laboratory/site investigations
* Identifying and investigating out of trend/adverse results present in analytical results
Requirements for this role include:
* Bachelor's degree in Analytical Science, Chemistry or related discipline
* Minimum of 3 years experience in analytical chemistry
* Strong teamwork skills with proven success working in a team environment
As a Quality Control Specialist, you will have a strong ability to manage your own workload and play an important part in various sub teams in QC such as Safety, Equipment or Audit Readiness.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all quality control activities are aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities may include:
* Developing and implementing new analytical methods and procedures
* Collaborating with scientists and engineers to design and implement new analytical instrumentation and equipment
* Leading training sessions and workshops to educate colleagues on new techniques and technologies
* Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for analytical processes
