Senior Psychologist - Children's Disability Network Team 6 (SC******)
Stewarts Care is a long-established voluntary organisation, funded by the HSE under Section 38.
We support people with intellectual disabilities through residential care, day services, independent living, job advocacy and vocational training.
Purpose of the Post
Reporting to the Childrens Disability Network Manager, the Senior Psychologist will, on a permanent, part-time contract, work as a member of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with MDT colleagues, providing services to children 0-18 years and families accessing the Children's Disability Network Team.
Experience and Qualifications
Have a university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours, majoring in Psychology and with honours in that subject.
Have an Irish postgraduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology.
Or an equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health (application must include letter of validation).
Applicants must have at least five years of satisfactory postgraduate experience in professional psychology.
No more than three years may have been spent gaining the postgraduate qualification, and no fewer than two years of full-time experience must be post-qualification.
Years exceeding the three-year limit for completing postgraduate training or time not worked will not count toward the five-year requirement.
Demonstrate competence in working with children with disabilities, an understanding of interdisciplinary practice, family-centred practice and a high standard of suitability for the proper discharge of the office.

Salary
In line with the Department of Health consolidated pay scales, the current salary scale is Psychologist, Senior; €98,503 – €115,784 per annum (including LSI).
