The successful candidate will provide second-line technical support, resolve escalated incidents, and contribute to the stability, security, and optimisation of our Microsoft cloud environments.RequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience in a Level 2 (or equivalent) IT support roleStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administrationProven experience supporting Azure Virtual DesktopSolid understanding of:Azure core services (VMs, networking, storage)Identity and access management (Entra ID / Azure AD)Group Policy and Intune (Endpoint Manager)Windows 10/11 and Windows ServerExperience working within ITIL-based support environmentsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical usersKey ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 technical support for Microsoft 365 services including:Exchange OnlineSharePoint OnlineOneDrive for BusinessMicrosoft TeamsEntra ID (Azure AD)Support, manage, and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including:Host pools, session hosts, and application groupsFSLogix profilesUser access and performance issuesInvestigate and resolve escalated incidents and service requests from L1 supportPerform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixesMonitor system performance, availability, and security across Microsoft cloud servicesAssist with onboarding/offboarding users and device managementContribute to documentation, knowledge base articles, and support proceduresWork closely with infrastructure, security, and third-party vendors when requiredParticipate in change management, patching, and service improvement initiativesProvide occasional out-of-hours or on-call support as neededCertificationsMicrosoft AZ-104: Azure Administrator – PreferredOther Microsoft certifications (e.g. MS-102, MD-102) are an advantageWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceAnnual salary and performance reviewSupport for Microsoft training and certificationsClear progression opportunities within the support and cloud engineering teamsExposure to modern Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune)Hybrid or flexible working optionsGenerous annual leave and pension / retirement schemeSupportive team culture with a focus on learning and continuous improvement
