Recruitment Specialist – Early Careers

We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist with a strong focus on early careers to support the attraction and selection of future talent across the firm. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality trainee and internship recruitment programmes aligned with the firm's strategic objectives and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
The successful candidate will partner closely with legal and business services stakeholders, manage relationships with universities, societies and external providers, and ensure a professional, candidate-centric experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
This role will involve nationwide travel during recruitment campaigns and occasional attendance at events outside of normal working hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, run and review the early careers recruitment and selection processes with particular emphasis on the annual high-volume recruitment drives for Trainees and Summer Interns.
* Attend and present (internally and externally) at graduate events, ensure all practical arrangements are in place.
* Partner with HR and Markets to continuously develop the Firm's graduate brand to the external graduate and post graduate employment market.
* Maintain the Firm's graduate website pages and manage appropriate social networking platforms.
* Coordinate and run the Firm's Summer Internship and Law First programmes.
* Develop and execute our graduate recruitment activities, with a focus on talent diversity, early engagement and innovative ideas.
* Ensure that the work placement programmes are successfully rolled out across targeted Universities.
* Continuously review all early careers recruitment programmes and make recommendations for improvements.
* Liaise with universities, careers offices and societies regarding engagement, sponsorship opportunities, careers fairs, presentations and other activities with a view to supporting our recruitment initiatives and our on-campus presence.
* Act as a trusted advisor on early careers recruitment best practices and market trends.
* Deliver a high-quality, professional candidate experience consistent with the firm's brand and values.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a focus on early careers, graduates or campus recruitment
* Experience within a professional services or corporate environment would be advantageous
* Strong organisational and project management skills - ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines on a consistent basis
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously
* Ability to exercise sound judgement and decision making
* Ability to work in pressurised situations
* Knowledge of early careers pathways within the legal sector (desirable)
* Experience running large-scale recruitment campaigns
* Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment data reporting
* Confident working with senior stakeholders
* Passionate about early careers and diversity initiatives
