Wexford General Hospital are currently recruiting for a Grade VI Quality & Clinical Risk Maternity Services Officer.
The Grade VI Quality & Clinical Risk Maternity Services Officer will:
Co-ordinate and manage Quality Assurance Systems in Maternity and Neonatal Services in Wexford Maternity Unit Ensure a proactive approach to risk and incident management, supporting patients and staff within the Maternity Services of Wexford General Hospital with consistent application of HSE Risk and Incident Management policies and guidance Promote best evidence risk management practices that foster a fair, open and learning culture Support staff in developing and sustaining a pro-active risk, incident and quality improvement culture, focusing on patient safety within the Maternity Department of Wexford General Hospital in accordance with regulatory and accredited national/international standards To compile, collate, analyse, validate, and present meaningful clinical data to the Maternity and Neonatal specialities to support clinical risk management, audit, quality & safety standards Compile and collate quality and patient safety reports in line with national and Dublin and South East IHA Maternity Group requirements Participate in reviews within the Dublin and Southeast IHA network as required Please see attached job specification for full details of the role, including post specific requirements.
