Vehicle Compound Co-ordinator

The Role:
The Vehicle Compound Co-ordinator will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of a busy remarketing compound. You will support administrative and operational activities, manage supplier relationships, oversee vehicle movements, and ensure stock, logistics, and sales processes run smoothly. This position offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to be an integral part of a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative and communication support to the remarketing team.
* Manage suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Oversee and support the vehicle sales process.
* Conduct return vehicle inspections.
* Perform weekly stock checks across multiple sites.
* Handle internal customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
* Undertake additional role-related duties as required.
What we're looking for:
* Full, clean driving licence held for at least two years.
* Strong knowledge of commercial and passenger vehicle makes and models.
* Good understanding of vehicle logistics and inventory control processes.
* Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills—written, verbal and interpersonal.
* High level of IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work outdoors and occasional additional hours.
* Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative approach.
* Motivated, energetic, and eager to take on new challenges.
