Orange Recruitment are currently seeking a Qualified and Experienced Electrician to join our clients property maintenance and reactive repairs team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong technical background in both domestic and commercial electrical systems, who is passionate about quality work and excellent service role involves carrying out a broad range of electrical maintenance, installation, and testing tasks as part of a responsive and proactive maintenance service.
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality electrical maintenance across residential and commercial properties, including fault diagnosis, repair, and upgrade works.
Perform periodic inspection and testing, complete electrical certification, and ensure all work complies with RECI and national regulations.
Carry out partial and full rewiring projects where necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
Respond to emergency callouts and reactive repair requests, resolving issues efficiently and safely.
Work independently or as part of a small team to complete repairs and installations to a consistently high standard.
Proactively manage your workload to meet service level agreements and customer expectations.
Record all works accurately using digital reporting tools and provide appropriate certification upon completion.
Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures on-site, and uphold a clean, safe working environment.
Requirements: Fully qualified Electrician, with RECI registration.
Minimum of 4-5 years' post-apprenticeship experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within residential property services or facilities maintenance.
Accredited Electrical Qualified Certifier (QC) - essential.
Proven experience with periodic inspections, reactive maintenance, rewires, and fault finding.
Knowledge of building systems and general construction practices is beneficial.
Ability to manage tasks independently, while maintaining clear communication with supervisors and clients.
