They must have at least four State of Michigan "Motor Vehicle Mechanic Certificates" or ASE equivalent. The time is now to get onboard with our team before the new facility is up and serving the community.Service Technician ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.Service Technician RequirementsArrive on time. Show up every day. Wear a smile. Be willing to learn something new every day!Understand thatcommunication is everything. It is remarkable how often the real problem is not what happened, but how it was communicated.Self-motivated. Have a sense of duty as if your name was on the side of the building. Dutyis a core principle in our Service Department.High school diploma or equivalent.At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician.At least 4 State of Michigan "Motor Vehicle Mechanic Certificates". ASE Certificates a plus.Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenanceBasic computer and DMS skills.
