Financial Planning Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join our finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role is critical in providing financial insight and partnering with operational teams to support key business initiatives and drive performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in Pharmaceutical or similar regulated industries, strong business partnering experience, knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean methodologies and continuous improvement, and proficiency in SAP, BPC, and MS Office.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and monitor internal financial controls, ensuring compliance (incl. SOX).
* Lead the preparation of R&D Tax Credits submissions and Government Grant claims.
* Support site management with operational and strategic initiatives, including costing of new products and projects.
* Partner with key departments on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
* Drive productivity initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
* Collaborate on capital investment planning and strategic projects.
* Manage monthly performance reporting, variance analysis, and dashboard oversight.
* Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement through the deployment of Six Sigma tools.
* Contribute to cross-site finance process and system improvement projects, manufacturing productivity initiatives, and staff training and development.
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in Pharmaceutical or similar regulated industries.
* Strong business partnering experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean methodologies and continuous improvement.
* Experience with grants, tax incentives, inventory accounting.
* Proficiency in SAP, BPC, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Experience supporting capital expenditure and start-up projects is an advantage.
