About your team:

About your role:
Reporting to the Director of Trading, the Trading Operational Manager leads the management and transportation of gas across regimes in ROI, NI, and UK, focusing on maximizing value and controlling risk. You will interface with industry large users, optimize capacity requirements, and ensure operational efficiency of our assets and portfolio. This role requires deep knowledge of energy markets, risk management, and regulation, along with excellent stakeholder management and strategic thinking.
You will lead an established 365-day operations team, providing leadership, developing team capabilities, and contributing to the Trading leadership team’s strategic goals. Responsibilities include planning and optimizing gas capacity, managing relationships, and ensuring contractual and operational integration. You will oversee a team of 6 operators, managing shift rosters and implementing best practices, including out-of-hours support.
Forecasting transmission costs, aligning cross-functional activities, and staying abreast of regulatory changes are also key. Building relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborating internally to support trading activities are essential.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or related field
* Strong knowledge of energy markets
