Morgan Mc Kinley are delighted to be partnering with a Cork based Accounting Practice in the recruitment of a Qualified Accountant to join their growing team. In this position you will be responsible for a wide range of SME clients focusing on audit, tax and accouants preparation. Please note this position is 100% on site. What You'll Be Responsible For: Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns for a varied client portfolio. Support audit engagements from start to finish. Provide guidance and mentorship to trainee accountants and junior team members. Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering clear, expert advice and responding to queries. Leading and conducting audits across a broad client base, in line with auditing standards and best practices Preparing corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws Investigating issues identified during engagements and proposing effective solutions Managing assignments to ensure completion within agreed budgets and deadlines Developing and maintaining strong, professional relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients Delivering high-quality work in a timely, efficient, and professional manner What We're Looking For: 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or general accounting practice ACA or ACCA qualification (or in progress) Strong technical knowledge of current accounting and auditing standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Meticulous attention to detail, a high level of integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality
