Description
Our Compliance team plays a central role in working with our customers to ensure that hazardous waste movements from customer premises to the Enva facility and onwards are carried out in full compliance with ADR, IMDG, and other relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics: Planning and coordination of hazardous waste / asbestos collections in collaboration with customers and operational staff within the division.
2. Non-Conformances: Recording and communication of non-conformances / corrective actions to customers, including assessment of additional costs if applicable.
3. Administration: Preparation of collection paperwork, WTFs, stock dockets, labeling, and month-end closing.
4. Customer Focus: Acting as the point of contact for customers regarding waste queries, collection dates, packaging requirements, and reporting.
5. Safety: Preparation of method statements and risk assessments as necessary, allocation of PPE, with a focus on health and safety for all activities.
6. Costs: Monitoring costs, especially for transport and packaging, to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal waste.
7. Miscellaneous: Carrying out other related tasks or duties as assigned from time to time.
