We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in health and safety management, with experience in the construction sector.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all site personnel comply with site safety and company requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager
2. Ensuring compliance with site safety and company requirements
3. Implementing and maintaining the company's Safety Management System
4. Conducting regular site inspections and audits
5. Identifying training needs and reporting requirements
6. Delivering health and safety inductions and weekly toolbox talks
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
1. A relevant 3rd-level EHS qualification
2. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
3. Experience working in the construction sector desired
4. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
5. Excellent organisational and planning skills
6. Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well in a team environment
