Hotel Maintenance Assistant
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Hotel Maintenance Assistant.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have two years of experience working in a similar role. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities, including routine tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system checks.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, addressing guest requests promptly and efficiently.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential maintenance issues.
* Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to handle larger projects and renovations.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of productivity and completing work within required timeframes. This includes receiving and recording all maintenance-related issues, adhering to stock control measures, and ensuring accurate records on the hotel property management system.
Additionally, the candidate will be expected to assist with incident response, take monthly utility meter readings, and demonstrate a flexible approach to work and willingness to undertake all reasonable duties at the request of managers.

Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will ideally have two years of experience working in a similar role. They should possess excellent attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, and be proficient in areas such as painting, building maintenance, plastering, and plumbing.
They should also be willing to learn and adapt to new situations, take direction from senior staff members, and maintain confidentiality when necessary.
