As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - Advanced Quality Engineer. - to join our group.
What you'll do
Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and controls for NPI and manage build records and documents.
Support and facilitate Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA) creation and maintenance.
Support and facilitate Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) creation and maintenance
Manage the First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP),including the creation and submission of Part Submission Warrants (PSW)
Complete measurement system analysis for inspection systems and gages to be utilised during the NPI phase
Review and analyze samples, quality issues, and improvement actions during the NPIstage
Conduct and analyse process capability studies in support of process developmen teams
Support the definition and implementation of quality controls and documentation needed for the production shop floor
Monitor process capability and oversee ongoing corrective actions as required
Review and approve the measurement and cosmetic inspection
Support the customer and quality system audit as required
Who you are
Level 8 Degree in a relevant Quality/Engineering/Science related discipline
Proven experience in a quality role within a NPI function in a regulated environment..
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background would be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9001, AS9100).
Good knowledge of Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis and Lean principles to investigate and solve problems and improve quality.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment and workunder own initiative to targets and deadlines.
Core tool qualification would be an advantage (FMEA, APQP, Control Plan, SPC)
