Cpl are supporting a global FS client in their search for a Senior Java / Data Engineer to help build and scale a strategic FS analytics platform within a global capital markets environment.
This is a hybrid position where we require technical expertise in Java and a strong footing in Data Engineering activities.
Role
* Build and scale Java-based services and APIs powering liquidity and funding analytics
* Design and develop data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark
* Deliver front-to-back metrics across a wide range of capital markets products
* Work closely with global business and technology stakeholders
* Ensure platforms are secure, observable, resilient and built for scale
* Contribute to the technical direction of a mission-critical, enterprise platform
Experience
* 8–10 years of hands-on Java experience, including Spring Boot and microservices
* Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
* 6+ years building data pipelines ideally with Databricks and Apache Spark
* Experience with Azure data services and cloud-native architectures
* Exposure to streaming technologies such as Kafka
* Experience in FS is advantageous
