Key Responsibilities
Evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
Use standardized tools and clinical observation to identify needs
Develop individualized therapy plans in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor progress
Deliver one-on-one or group therapy sessions
Support clients across age groups, including children with developmental delays and adults with acquired conditions
Work closely with professionals such as occupational therapists, psychologists, teachers, and medical staff
Participate in team meetings and contribute to holistic care plans
Maintain accurate clinical records
Prepare reports for families, schools, and healthcare providers
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Therapy
CORU Registration mandatory
Delivering service to adults across all acute care areas including Stroke, Age-Related Care, Rehabilitation, General Medicine
Be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following:
EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
Willing to undergo Garda Vetting
International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16)
