About Us
Newpark Academy of Music is a vibrant centre for music education with a proud tradition of serving our community. We are seeking a reliable and organised Administrator to join our team. This role is central to the smooth day-to-day running of the Academy and will involve working closely with students, teachers, and the wider community.
Role Details
* Hours:
Primarily Monday–Friday, 13:00–21:00, with occasional Saturday work required.
* Contract:
Full-time or part-time positions available.
* Pay:
€14 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage timetabling for students, teachers, and other Academy users.
* Issue invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
* Handle telephone and email communications in a professional and friendly manner.
* Provide administrative support to the office and teaching staff.
* Be present at the front desk during school opening hours, assisting with enquiries from students, parents, and visitors.
Requirements
* 2–3 years' experience in an administrative role.
* Fluency in English (spoken and written).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email systems outlook).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must hold a legal right to work in Ireland.
Desirable
* Experience working in an educational or arts environment.
