The role
Quality Control (QC) Analyst - BV (2‑year contract, onsite) – Located in Lismeehan, O’Callaghan Mills, Co. Clare. Reports to QC Manager/Team Lead.
Shift pattern: Monday‑Thursday 4 pm–12 am; Friday 3 pm–10 pm.
Experience with infectious materials is required. Candidates should be comfortable handling such materials.
In This Role
Perform QC testing of products and raw materials in line with approved procedures, reviewing and approving results to support timely status release, system release, and the generation of Certificates of Analysis (CoAs).
Review and release Batch History Records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.
Generate, review, and report analytical data, including investigation and follow‑up of Out of Specification (OOS) results, and preparation of Non‑Conformance (NC) reports or deviation documentation as required.
Participate in a rotation of laboratory support duties, including equipment calibration, temperature monitoring, laboratory maintenance programmes, management of consumable stocks, housekeeping activities, and autoclave waste management.
Essential Requirements
Level 8 degree (Science or relevant technical degree desirable).
Good working knowledge of GMP, Quality, and Safety Standards.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment.
Excellent record‑keeping and high accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
Experience with laboratory equipment such as analytical balances, pH meters, pipettes.
Experience with GMP, Quality and Safety standards.
