Job Title: Sales and Business Development Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to manage all aspects of the Sales Office operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving performance levels and sales targets as set out by the Company, managing Sales Office costs, and introducing efficiencies in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of the Sales Office, ensuring that Sales Office targets are achieved as per annual business plan and deliver on personal sales targets.
2. Lead and manage the performance of Sales Executives, Sales Development Coordinators, and Sales Advisors.
3. Provide necessary coaching, development, and support to staff.
4. Ensure the team demonstrates the required level of skill, knowledge, and behavior, and that all systems and procedures as laid down by the Company are complied with.
5. Allocate targets and business segments in line with the Company's ambition, ensuring that all staff have the opportunity to excel and achieve and exceed business targets.
6. Work with other branch managers to best utilize shared resources.
7. Grow revenue through direct selling and account management, personally and with the office team.
8. Target customer segments in commercial and agri-business sectors and develop prospecting strategies to maximize penetration and/or build on success.
9. Develop customer relationships and sales opportunities – constantly striving to improve conversion rates and quality of business.
10. Manage all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, time and territory management, call activity, conversion rates, follow-up renewals, and referrals.
11. Performance management – establish a program of individual meetings to set targets, review performance, and identify development needs.
12. Identify training and development necessary to maximize performance outputs.
13. Requirements:
o A relevant degree or CIP qualification.
o A proven track record in sales and relationship management.
o Performance Management.
o In-depth knowledge of sales processes – prospecting, lead generation, time and territory management, and call activity, conversion rates, follow-up renewals, and referrals.
o Knowledge of policy administration, Microsoft Office, Intranet, Internet, e-learning.
o A full clean driving license.
