We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Branch Lead
to join our Retail Banking team in
Belmullet, Co. Mayo.
In this permanent role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring the efficient delivery of business objectives while maintaining a culture of regulatory excellence and superior customer service.
As a leader, you will be responsible for a team of
4 to 10 colleagues
, motivating them to provide a world-class experience for both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership:
Supervise and coach branch colleagues, managing performance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Operational Excellence:
Coordinate daily activities to optimize branch capacity and ensure all management checks—including cash and register balancing—are completed with diligence.
* Business Growth:
Drive business development, lead generation, and cross-sales activity to support customer acquisition and revenue growth.
* Compliance & Risk:
Proactively manage the risk and control agenda, ensuring all activities are "right first time" and fully compliant with industry standards and regulations.
* Customer Engagement:
Promote an omni-channel model and customer segmentation strategy to meet evolving client needs and enhance the overall customer journey.
Requirements
* Qualifications:
Full QFA with up-to-date CPD hours is essential. APA (Loans & Regs) may be considered.
* Experience:
Proven track record in retail finance sales and service, ideally at a branch level.
* Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
* Skills:
Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* License:
A full, valid Driver's Licence.
* Regulatory Status:
This role is a Controlled Function and is subject to Fitness & Probity standards.
