Support Worker
You will be part of a team that delivers high-quality, person-centered care in residential and aftercare services.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about promoting independence and inclusion among service users.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day support to service users in line with individual care plans
* Promote independence, inclusion, and personal development for service users
* Support with daily living needs (personal care, meals, household tasks)
* Encourage and assist service users to participate in education, work, and community activities
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
* Work as part of a team to ensure safe and high-quality care
* Safeguard the wellbeing of all service users in line with policy and best practice
About this Role
This role requires a compassionate and empathetic individual who can build strong relationships with service users. You will need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
Requirements
* Certificate III or Diploma in Community Services or related field
* Experience working in aged care or disability services
* Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
* First Aid Certificate
