About the role
We are inviting experienced applicants to apply for the role of Chef De Partie in our 4‑star Hotel & Golf Resort. This full‑time position includes weekends and evening shifts. The successful applicant should have at least two years of experience, preferably in a four‑star hotel.
About Our Hotel
Tulfarris is one of the most picturesque hotels in Wicklow. Our luxurious hotel has 91 guest rooms and three self‑catering lodges, and hosts weddings and special events. The Brasserie and The Fairways Restaurant offer a selection of food in a relaxed setting with panoramic views of the golf course, Blessington Lakes, and Wicklow Mountains. All our food is sourced locally from Irish farmers, cheese mongers, and suppliers. We also offer a fine selection of beers and cocktails. The hotel is located 45 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from the M50.
Your New Role
You will work as part of an award‑winning and enthusiastic kitchen team. You will demonstrate a positive attitude and flexible approach to work, communicate openly and effectively, and take pride in every aspect of what you produce to ensure a high‑quality guest experience. We pride ourselves on the food we make, with a selection of sumptuous blends where world cuisine meets the best of Irish. All ingredients are sourced locally from Irish farmers and suppliers.
Candidate Requirements
Always working on behalf of guests and working with other team members to exceed guest expectations.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
Strong knowledge of HACCP.
Lead by example at all times.
Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
Responsible for maintaining high levels of quality, service, presentation and cleanliness.
Responsible for all aspects of food preparation and service.
Responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the kitchen whilst taking instruction.
Take direction from Executive Head Chef & Sous Chef to assist in monitoring food quality and hygiene standards.
Be self‑motivated, creative and committed to quality in presentation of food.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the standard of food and pastries produced is of the highest possible standard.
Follow standardised recipes, preparation and presentation standards.
Ensure the smooth running of food service with restaurant personnel.
Ensure all special requests made by guests are met.
Work in an organised, hygienic manner at all times, prioritising HACCP regulations.
Ensure all goods are stored correctly and hygienically in accordance with HACCP specifications.
Ensure correct rotation of stock as per HACCP requirements.
Adhere to cleaning schedules set out for the Kitchen.
