About the Role
Vinehall Displays is expanding our Design team as we continue to grow across exhibitions, conferences, and large‑scale event production nationwide. We're looking for a creative, detail-driven Designer who can turn concepts into clear, build-ready visuals and artwork. You'll work closely with our project managers, workshop, print and installation teams to help bring events to life — from initial idea to show-ready delivery.
What You'll Do
* Develop concepts, 2D layouts, visualisations and production drawings for events, exhibitions, staging, branding and signage.
* Prepare accurate print-ready artwork and technical packs for fabrication, carpentry, print and AV teams.
* Collaborate with project managers to interpret briefs, refine designs and problem-solve.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure designs can be executed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Support occasional on‑site installations — measurements, QC checks, small revisions.
* Maintain structured and tidy file management, ensuring the wider team can access clear, actionable design documentation.
What You'll Bring
* A portfolio demonstrating design work relevant to exhibitions, events, environments or brand implementation.
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
* Experience with a 3D or CAD tool such as SketchUp, Vectorworks, or similar.
* Advantage:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 tools for layouts, presentations and internal collaboration.
* Nice-to-have:
experience with event and display systems such as beMatrix, Octanorm, or SEG fabric graphics.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
* A collaborative mindset and confidence in contributing ideas and improvements.
* Flexibility around occasional evening/weekend work during peak event periods.
* A full driving licence is an advantage.
