Morgan McKinley is partnering with a expanding, global FMCG organisation to appoint a Senior Demand Planner in Dublin.This is a high-impact role where demand planning excellence is critical to supporting commercial expansion, product innovation, and supply chain optimisation. The Senior Demand Planner will be responsible for leading SKU-level demand forecasting and playing a key role in shaping supply, inventory, and network planning strategy through advanced analytics, modelling, and stakeholder leadership.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Own and lead the end-to-end demand forecasting process across brands, markets, and channelsDevelop statistically driven forecasting models combined with commercial intelligence and market insightsLead demand review meetings and challenge inputs to ensure realistic, unbiased forecastsIntegrate new product launches, promotions, portfolio changes, and discontinuations into forecastsDrive forecast accuracy and bias improvement initiatives across regionsPlay a key leadership role in monthly S&OP / IBP cyclesProvide scenario modelling and risk/opportunity analysis to senior leadershipTranslate demand signals into strategic supply and capacity planning assumptionsAnalyse demand trends to support production, distribution, and network optimisation decisionsMonitor inventory performance vs target coverage and service levelsProvide forecast inputs to support procurement and supplier planningLead root cause analysis for forecast errors and implement corrective actionsDrive demand planning process improvements, automation, and system enhancementsKey Requirements:5+ years experience in demand planning, supply planning, or integrated business planning within FMCGStrong experience working in fast-growth, complex, multi-SKU environmentsAdvanced forecasting and statistical modelling capabilityAdvanced Excel and data analysis skills; Power BI or similar analytics tools advantageousStrong commercial acumen and understanding of financial impacts of demand decisions
