OverviewMonzo EU is hiring for a Chief of Staff to the CEO. This person will work alongside the CEO and their EA to amplify the impact of the Chief Executive’s role. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring our Chief Executive is effective in their role. This means supporting them in their day-to-day relationships with their direct reports and company-wide engagement, as well as with broader stakeholder management including regulators, investors/shareholders and of course the Board from time to time.ResponsibilitiesServing as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO, regarding company culture, Monzonaut wellbeing, project updates, proposals, and planningWorking closely with the EU leads on strategy and execution including helping them manage key data and metrics related to company KPIsBuilding and developing relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with CEO and executives on policies, processes and operational programsServing as a subject matter expert in Monzo business operations, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communicationsAre experienced and effective at prioritisation at a tactical and strategic level, with clear examples of helping a C-level executive work more effectivelyAre great at stakeholder management at all levels across a company including, partnering with C-level executives and working with VPs across technical and business teamsHave experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives, including organisational planning and headcount planningAre an excellent communicator, in line with our Monzo Tone of VoiceAre highly analytical and proficient with our full data stack including Looker, Excel, SQL, Python (basic), GSuite, Adobe and WebflowHave experience with budget management and financial modellingAre an ex-consultant or have consulting experience with a focus on operations managementHave experience as a people leader and managerAre experienced in working directly with Engineers, Data Analytics and Data ScientistsAre a nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutionsWhat’s in it for youThis role will have a hybrid working model, based in our Dublin office 2 - 3 days a week.We offer flexible working hours and trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, and at times that suit you and your team.Annual Leave 34 days including public holidays (24 holiday days + 10 public holidays)€1,200 learning budget each year to use on books, training courses and conferences.Pension scheme: the minimum contribution is 4% and Monzo matches any additional contributions that you make up to a maximum of 6%Wellbeing benefits: financial education, women’s and men’s health support, mental health benefits, including coaching and counsellingApplication processIntroduction call with a member of the hiring teamInitial call with the hiring managerExperience interview(s)Final round Leadership and Collaboration interviewThis process should take around 2-3 weeks.
