Description
We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality control in our food production unit. This pivotal role involves ensuring that our food products consistently meet and exceed quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance program.
* Lead a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Maintain high-quality standards by monitoring product quality throughout the production process.
* Establish and maintain quality procedures and protocols.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
* Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
* Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
* Evaluate and respond to customer complaints or quality issues.
* Train employees on quality control processes and procedures.
Requirements:
* A degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field, and/or proven experience in quality management within the food industry.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and certifications (e.g., HACCP, GMP, BRC).
* A commitment to quality, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
