Main Duties:
1. To actively live the brand values of being Genuine, Inspiring, Vibrant and Committed and to engage others to do the same
2. To adhere to all company rules, policies and procedures at all times
3. To achieve agreed sales and margin targets and minimising wastage figures
4. To prioritise customer service including ensuring customer transactions are carried out efficiently and effectively i.e. processing customer sales and requests in a fast, effective and friendly manner
5. To assist customers with product knowledge and recommendations
6. To wear full uniform including protective clothing, name badge and display a neat appearance at all times
7. To complete customer sales at deli counter as per store procedures
8. Demonstrate high standards of product knowledge e.g. Food To Go
9. Practice efficient stock management including correct merchandising and rotation of stock in the delicatessen department
10. To prepare food lines for sale
11. Illustrate the building and maintenance of effective displays
12. To ensure product quality and accuracy of pricing
13. To be familiar and comply with all Health & Safety Regulations particularly those directly relating to your role and to report any breaches to store management
14. To carry out any other duties as requested by management / supervisors from time to time
