Streamline Order Management and Supply Chain Processes
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join the Supply Chain team for a 12 month fixed term contract in Dublin, Ireland. This is a hybrid working role.
The primary responsibility of this role is to automate sales order entry processes, effectively manage customer service stakeholders, and analyze purchase orders for mapping to SAP using third party applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order management and contribute to other customer service and supply chain initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Automate sales order entry processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement automation solutions.
* Manage and maintain strong relationships with customer service stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring timely and accurate communication regarding order status and updates.
* Analyze purchase orders received from customers and extract key data for automation using proprietary tools.
* Monitor order processing to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Identify and resolve order-related issues, working closely with internal teams and external partners as needed.
* Generate reports and provide insights on order management performance and trends.
* Contribute to creating, validating, and monitoring customer service and experience metrics.
* Work on supply chain proof of value projects.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, analytics, supply chain management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
* Proven experience in order management, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns.
* Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
