We're seeking a reliable, motivated, and customer-friendly Takeaway Team Member to join our busy food outlet. This is a hands-on role that involves cooking on the grill, using the fryer,, pizza making ( training can be provided ) and assisting with food preparation.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment, able to speak strong English, and have a friendly attitude when dealing with customers.
There is real potential for career progression in this role, with the possibility of moving into a supervisor position in the future for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cooking on the grill and using the fryer
* Assisting with food prep and portioning ingredients
* Learning and assisting with pizza making
* Taking and packing customer orders
* Handling both phone and walk-in orders
* Operating the till and managing payments
* Maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards
* Working as part of a small, efficient team
* Providing excellent customer service at all times
Requirements:
* Strong English language skills (spoken and written)
* Confident and polite when dealing with the public
* Experience using a grill and fryer is preferred
* Willingness to learn new skills, including pizza making
* Ability to work evenings and weekends
* Punctual, trustworthy, and hardworking
* Basic understanding of food hygiene (training can be provided)
