Senior Nursing Leadership Position We are seeking an experienced nursing professional to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing. * The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all home policies and clinical standards are fully understood, implemented, and consistently practiced. * They will review and audit nursing documentation to confirm accurate assessments, timely care planning, and appropriate management of residents at higher clinical risk. * The ideal candidate will oversee safe medication management in line with NMBI/An Bord Altranais guidelines. * Strong clinical leadership skills are required, with the ability to provide support to CNMs, maintain a visible presence on the floor, monitor care practices, and offer constructive feedback to staff. * The Senior Nursing Leader will conduct regular performance appraisals for CNMs, nurses, and carers. * Promoting person-centred care is crucial, with daily engagement with residents and families, addressing concerns promptly, supporting MDT communication, and escalating unresolved issues appropriately.
